Two months ago Roy Moore was at a campaign rally in Florence, Alabama when he was asked by an African-American woman when he thought the "last time" American was great again."
And this was his response.
“I think it was great at the time when families were united. Even though we had slavery, they cared for one another. ... Our families were strong, our country had a direction,” Moore responded, according to a Los Angeles Times report in September.
It was also at the same rally where he called Asian people (yellows) and Native Americans (Reds).
So, yay, Alabama!
